We know the Lord much more than we currently remember.

This life is spent striving to reacquaint ourselves with him.

This weekend President Nelson talked about how when we keep our covenants it actually brings rest to our souls.

A rest that may not be recognizable to the world.

A rest that can only be tried and experienced.

I’m going to be looking out for this more in the coming months.

I believe that each of us plays a part in God’s plan.

It doesn’t matter whether our part is large or widely known to others.

Each of us is needed.

Each of us matters.

Each of us can help to lift and strengthen at least one other person.

Each of us needs to be doing our part.

“My plea today to our youth, and to you parents and adults who advise them, is to begin your search for happiness by embracing the bounty we have already received from the giver of every good gift.” – Jeffrey R. Holland

Anytime we go looking for the source for happiness “out there” we are starting in the wrong place. The most plentiful source of happiness is Jesus Christ. Anything deviating from that will result in a lesser portion.

What are the most important?

How do they help us?

How can we have faith that we should keep them going?

I like that phrase.

It resonates with what we write about here, out turn on earth.

Is there a purpose to our existence, if so what is it?

I testify that there is and will be discussing it in the future.

One of the great struggles of life is the shift.

We start out by asking ourselves the question, “what do I want?”

As we grow closer to Christ we think about and ask more and more, “What does He want?”

Keep shifting!
